Game film. Practice. Camps and showcases. The work is constant.
Conlan Elson is a Class of 2029 football prospect at East Carteret High School in Beaufort, North Carolina. He wears #11, lines up at wide receiver on offense and middle linebacker on defense, and earned varsity playing time as a freshman.
Track and field is his off-season football program -- and the results show it. Conlan qualified for the state meet in both the 4x200 relay and the high jump, competing against the best athletes in North Carolina. As a sprinter and jumper, he is doing the same work elite wide receivers and linebackers do at every level: building first-step explosion, top-end speed, and the body control that shows up every Friday night. Every meet is training for September.
Wrestling built the foundation: hand combat, leverage, and the ability to finish through contact. Conlan competed at the varsity level and carries that physicality into every snap. His off-season focus has since shifted entirely to football development -- weight training, cardio conditioning, and a yoga routine built around flexibility and injury prevention. The goal is simple: arrive at the next level stronger, faster, and more durable than the day before.
He is also active in off-season football camps and showcases, putting his game in front of coaches and testing himself against the best competition available. The film is growing. The résumé is building.
